The Scottish Youth Parliament constantly campaigns on behalf of Scotland's young people.
In October 2013, the Scottish Youth Parliament selected a Young Carers' Grant to be the focus of its National Campaign for 2014. The campaign is currently in the planning process and is due to be launched in January 2014.
In September 2012 we launched One Fair Wage, a campaign to build support for a Scottish Living Wage.
Our Love Equally Campaign won Campaign of the Year at the Scottish Charity of the Year Awards 2013, and contributed to the Scottish Government's decision to bring forward a bill for Equal Marriage. We also are actively campaigning for votes at 16, and campaigned for 16 and 17-year-olds to vote in the referendum on Scotland's constitutional future.
All of our campaigns are based on the statements in our Manifesto; Change the Picture, which can be read here. For more information about Love Equally or Votes at 16, then click the links below!
