SYP Board & Conveners Group Elections 2010

One of the things that makes the Scottish Youth Parliament unique is the way that young people are involved in the key decisions of the organisation. On the Sunday of the June Sitting, which doubles up as the SYP’s AGM (Annual General Meeting) MSYPs will elect the Board of Trustees that governs the organisation, and the Conveners Group which oversees the policy and campaigning work of the organisation.

MSYPs will get the opportunity to vote for who they think will be the best people to do this – and you could even stand as a candidate yourself! Full details of how you can take part in the elections will be sent to you in May so watch this space for all the info heading your way!
