The Sitting will be held on the 26th and 27th of June at The Howden Park Centre, Livingston, West Lothian, EH54 6AE. The venue is directly accessible by car and bus, with the nearest train being less than a mile away.

By Bus

Howden Park Centre is well served by buses throughout West Lothian. Regular buses (with a 5 minute journey time) run from Livingston Terminal (shopping centre) to St John's Hospital, a short walk from Howden Park Centre. The First Bus services from Livingston terminal to St John's Hospital are: 6, 8, 8A, 12, 16, 27, 28

By Train

Edinburgh Waverley to Livingston North Journey time: 23 mins with the regular service running: 18 mins past the hour & 48 mins past, (less frequent after 18:48)


Glasgow Central - Livingston South
Journey time: 1hour 4mins
Regular service running: 15 mins past the hour, (less frequent after 18:15)

Both Livingston North and South Stations are within 2 miles of the venue.

From M8, Edinburgh to dual carriageway: Come off at Livingston (j3). Take the slip road on the left to dual carriageway (A899)


From M8, Glasgow to dual carriageway: Come off at Livingston (j3). At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the dual carriageway (A899) heading to Livingston


Dual Carriageway to The Howden Park Centre: Ease yourself into the left hand lane. Ignore the yellow AA sign that says Howden Park Centre, take the next exit (Craigsfarm South) with a brown HPC tourist sign. At the bottom of the slip get into the right hand lane and go round the roundabout. Left hand lane at the lights and follow the brown HPC sign. Through the next roundabout then right and the next one (Civic Centre on your left) Left at the next Howden Park Centre sign (into Toronto Avenue). Left into Howden park. Follow the road to the end. You have arrived!
