Poverty: See It Change It

POVERTY: See It Change It

This session was developed in support of our national campaign, POVERTY: See It Change It.  The session highlights the negative stigmas and uses of language that often surround discussions on poverty, while examining some of the underlying reasons why poverty exists. Participants will learn how poverty is linked to their rights as a young person, and what to do if their rights aren't being upheld. The session will also teach participants how to challenge their elected leaders to tackle child and youth poverty.

This session is best suited for groups of 30 or less.

Sessions generally last 1 to 1.5 hours.
