The Scottish Youth Parliament constantly campaigns on behalf of Scotland's young people.
SYP’s National Campaign for 2014 is now underway. On Thursday 23rd January SYP launched Care.Fair.Share., a campaign to ensure that young carers are treated fairly by society and government policies. Care doesn't have to mean compromise. Check out the Care.Fair.Share. webpage here to find out how you can get involved.
In September 2012 we launched One Fair Wage, a campaign to build support for a Scottish Living Wage.
Our Love Equally Campaign won Campaign of the Year at the Scottish Charity of the Year Awards 2013, and contributed to the Scottish Government's decision to bring forward a bill for Equal Marriage. We also are actively campaigning for votes at 16, and campaigned for 16 and 17-year-olds to vote in the referendum on Scotland's constitutional future.
All of our campaigns are based on the statements in our Manifesto; Change the Picture, which can be read here. For more information about Love Equally or Votes at 16, then click the links on the left.
