“Generations Talking Together” brought younger and older people together from Edinburgh and the Lothians to look at issues of concern across the generations. The event was supported by the
Scottish Centre for Intergenerational Practice, in association with The City of Edinburgh Council and the Scottish Youth Parliament (SYP). It was one of a series of regional events held across Scotland in 2011 to showcase intergenerational practice and celebrate the work of the Scottish Centre for Intergenerational Practice. You can download the report here.
SYP deliver informative presentations at events, meetings and to various groups. These support MSYPs to communicate with others.
This presentation is good for introducing SYP to anyone who doesnt know the organisation well. Click here for the PDF. This would be a good presentation to use when engaging with young people, in schools, youth clubs etc.
This is another presentation which covers more of SYP's structure, impact areas and outcomes. Click here for the PDF. This kind of presentation is useful when talking to organisations or politicians.
All MSYPs must follow our code of conduct, download this here.
