On the 23rd of June, we face a monumental decision; a decision that affects all of us in Scotland and across the UK, but will have the furthest reaching implications for young people. The decision of whether the UK remains a member of the European Union or leaves it will affect our country, our cities, our towns and villages, and every person in them. It will affect our economy, travel, trade, housing, and how we study and work abroad. In short, the decision we make as a country will have a massive impact on our future.

This is a matter of huge importance, and we deserve a voice in the decision; we deserve to be listened to. This is our chance to decide how we want our country to operate, and we can’t pass it up.

Don’t let others decide for you, it’s your choice. We have a world of information in our pockets: access to facts is only a smartphone away, and it only takes a couple of minutes to register to vote. But the 7th of June - the deadline to register to vote - is approaching, and thousands of young people face missing out on being able to have a say. Make sure you’re registered to vote, make sure you are able to get your voice heard, make sure you vote on the 23rd of June.
